Me and all the niggas sat outside as all the kids played around the bounce house or with Skye as we all just talked
"Damn man it's been a minute" Kai said as we all nodded
"Nahh forreal, when you have kids and shit a lot of shit change because I don't think I hung with the boys in a minute" Dave said
He finally made it from work he was the last to show up so now the party was definitely starting
"That's the marriage life for you." I stated
I wasn't unhappy at all but I had 3 kids and a wife so hanging out with friends and family ain't really been a thing for none of us lately. I mostly see Kai and Malik because of work but as far as the rest?? We all be too busy to really spend time together.
That's life now.
Plus dealing with Lani's situation I was worried about her a lot so I tried to spend much time with her possible
"You know I don't do the gay shit but a nigga miss fucking with y'all. We need to start planning a day to ourselves or something, no wives no kids" Jake said as I nodded
"Nah I'll make that shit happen fr" Malik said
"Please just send me the damn text and I'm there, I love my wife and kid but damn" Miche said shaking his head drinking a beer as I laughed
You would've thought we was all miserable but in all reality we all just needed some me time . I barely get time with Melanie just us but hell that's what happens when you have kids

We were outside and all the kids were too occupied so I figured I could get a quick one in

"You know we got a dog for her, Jake jr and Kai jr, she damn near killed the dog throwing him in the dryer after washing him in the tub" He said as my mouth dropped
"Yeah let me keep Skye away from her because them girls I got gone have a heart attack behind their baby, Omari ass already be hitting the dog with a bat" I said shaking my head at my bad ass son
"Damn I'm glad Monae a good baby" Miche said shrugging as Malik did the same
"Facts , I had my problems with Si at first but he relaxed a bit"
"What y'all over here talking about" I hear as I felt hands on my shoulders before she came around the chair sitting on me "And what I told you about smoking around the kids"
