In the dead of night a pair of lights coming from a small flying vehicle shined throughout a dense forest darting past and across the trees. The vehicle avoided the greenery until it had arrived inside of a ruin. It was the same ruin that knuckles had discovered before he was captured. The man from the floating pod disembarked from his vehicle and who else would this man be then Sonia's long nemesis Dr Ivo robotnik or "Eggman" as he is called by many others.

The self-proclaimed evil genius approaches the throne shaped portal and holds up a small disk like object. He smirks and attaches the disk to the portal.
Sage: Uploading A.I program now.
Eggman laughs as the portal activates causing the area in the ruins to glitch profusely before a portal behind eggman opens up summoning the robots from before. The portals activation chillingly sounds close to a distorted scream.
Eggman: Yes it's all coming online. The ancients secrets will be mine.
It was too soon for eggman to celebrate however as the disk attached to the portal began to short circuit. Eggman turns to the disk before talking to his daughter sage.
Eggman grabs onto the disk which sinks through the portal dragging eggman along with it into the great unknown.
Night turns to day as a red plane soars through the sky. Piloting the aircraft was tails Millie prower and her other two passengers were Amy rose the pink hedgehog and the blue blur herself Sonia the hedgehog.
