14. Chuseok

Yeah, apparently Q was right, and this date ended up with Patrick and I, making out in his room. But when his roommates came, I felt so awkward that I found a silly excuse to leave. It was almost two in the morning and when I entered the room I found Minho sitting on the sofa watching TV

Y/n:What are you doing up at this hour?

I asked, and he looked at me before closing the TV.

Minho:I would have asked you the same thing, but I already know. As from me, I was trying to find recipes to help you and your stupid twin tomorrow!

He said while standing up and coming next to me

Y/n:You don't need to do that. I know how to cook, and Kitty can-

Y/n: ...watch

I said with a smile and he laughed

Minho:Well that's great, but I still want to help you after I saw the incredible shopping your twin did today

He said and I sighed. I knew that I shouldn't have left her go shopping on her own. Especially now that we are in Korea, and she doesn't know half of the ingredients that I wrote down to her

Y/n:Thank you, Mr poopy baby

I said and he laughed

Minho:Your welcome Cruella

He said, looking into my eyes and putting his hand on my cheek. I got lost into the eye contact we made, and I felt my cheeks burn so hard. The sight of my tomato face made him smile. Was my dream coming into reality?

Minho:You don't know the effect that you have on people, Covey

He said, and I looked at him confused. What did he mean by that? What effect I have on people? He touched my lips with his cold finger and came closer to me. For a minute, I thought he was going to kiss me until his phone rang because someone was calling him. Who was calling at this time of hour? That's when I heard a girl's voice on the phone, and my heart dropped. Who was this girl? And more importantly, why did I care? Why the hell did I fell jealous? I looked on the floor, said a quick goodnight and went to my room. I looked myself in the mirror, trying to figure out what was going on with me? I was trying to figure out the mess inside my head! Maybe it was a long day, and I am just tired. That thought sightly made me feel better, and I fall on my bed looking at the ceiling before I fall asleep

The next day, when I woke up, I found the dorm empty, but I heard voices in the living room. When I exited my room, I found Kitty and Minho smiling at each other while cooking. I don't know why, but it made me furious. Kitty came and hugged me and told me that Patrick had left something from me this morning in our old dorm and that she went to pick it up. When I opened the box, it was full of roses and I immediately threw them in the garbage because I don't know if you remember, but I am allergic to them 

Kitty:Why did you throw it away?

She asked, and I sat on a chair opposite of them 

Y/n:It was full of roses

I said, and her smile faded, then she immediately took the bag of the rubbish bin and went to throw them away.

Minho:What is so bad about roses?

He asked full in confusion while watching Kitty going outside 

Y/n:I am allergic to them 

I said, and his eyes widened. Before he smirked

Minho:You are seriously allergic to everything! What are other things are you allergic too?

He asked, and that's when I noticed on the counter a box full of almonds. I was too tired to mention it, and also what if they weren't almonds, and I was wrong?

Y/n:Yeah, you 

I said standing up to go and change but also get ready to cook. When Kitty entered, she sat at the place where I was sitting a couple of minutes ago 

Kitty:Hey, have you heard from Dae today? Is he okay? Chuseok, family and ancestor stuff?

She asked worried about him. Maybe I was wrong when I thought that something was going on between the two of them when I first came into the room

Minho:No I haven't. It's definitely a difficult holiday for him. And you?

He asked and Kitty looked at him confused

Kitty:Me what?

Minho:You must be thinking about your mom too. This week. And Y/n!

He said, and Kitty smiled

Kitty:Yeah, I am in a good way. I can feel her all around me here. I bet that Y/n does the same. Thanks, Minho!

I chose not to answer his question, and I am glad that Kitty answered for me 

Minho:You're welcome 

He said with a smile. Him smiling? And also at my sister? What the hell was going on here? My phone started ringing and when I saw that it was Patrick I didn't answer, I wasn't in a mood to talk to him. And I was also too embarrassed to talk to him after what happened yesterday evening. In his dorm...

Kitty:Why are you not answering to him? Did something happen between you too last time? You know what I mean 

She said with a smirk, winking at me and I throw to her the towel that I was holding 

Y/n:Grow up

I said and she sighed 

Kitty:Fine! Anyway, I feel like I should reach out to Dae even though it's super awkward, and I don't know what to say or how to say it, but I feel like this stuff trumps other stuff 

She said and I nodded 

Y/n:Do whatever your heart tells you to do 

I said and Minho then nodded 

Minho:Gifts are always appreciated on Chuseok, even from ex pen pals. Pass me the gochugaru

He said to me and I handed it to him. Then he checked his phone and smiled

Minho:Confirmed Lulu will be at the premises at 8p.m

He said and I looked at him confused 

Y/n:Who is Lulu?

I said and he smirked at me 

Minho:My date 

He said with a smile and I sighed 

Y/n:Poor girl, what did she like on you?

I said disgusted. Probably the same thing as me, so I can feel jealous as hell right now. He looked at me with a death stare, ready to murder me, but then Kitty interrupted us before he will actually attempt to murder me 

Kitty:I am sure she will love the chocolate 

She said and Minho looked on the floor 

Minho:Actually, the chocolate isn't for her

He said, and she looked at him confused, but then my phone started ringing again. When I saw that it was Patrick, I handed it to Kitty 

Y/n:Find an excuse 

I said and her eyes widened 

Kitty:No way, I am a terrible liar 

She said and I scoffed 

Y/n:Come on, say something. You are the matchmaker, remember?

I said, and she sighed before she picked up the phone 

Kitty:Hey Patrick, it's Kitty talking! Y/n can't come to the phone right now because she is horse riding!..... No, you can't go find her there because she has probably finished by now and be headed to the library. You know what a bookworm she is..... No, you can't go find her there either, because she doesn't like to be disturbed when she is studying. So call her later byeeee

She said and immediately hang up the phone with a sigh of relief leaving her mouth and then a proud smile appearing on her face

Y/n:You are good

I said rather proudly and she nodded
