What would it be like
If we lived an animation
Would I still have
These
Yearning sensations?
Would the sky be blue?
Or would it be bluer?
Would my path be clear
Or would it be truer?
Would I know which path to take?
Would the clouds be beautiful?
Would they shoot across the sky?
Perhaps I’d find tears on my face
Stopping only to ask why?
Would I feel out of place?
My eyes, wandering far...
Singing to Delilah
As we stretched out ‘neath the sheet of stars?
I named that star Delilah,
For it was terribly far away,
But still was bright and beautiful,
On the heavens
Where
It lay.
