11. Parents, parents, where art thou?
It really annoys me when the authors have no idea what to do or how to incorporate the girl's parents into the story so she ends up killing them off or they're not mentioned at all.
Um, excuse me. How is it that the people who gave birth to the main character are practically invisible?
And somehow, she's 17 and lives in her own flat in London. Because suddenly there are no other relatives to take care of her.
What? Did the writer kill off all her relatives or anyone with just a hint of her genes?
I'm leaning towards a probably.
Oh! When the parents aren't mentioned at all and the main character's heart gets broken
SHAZAM
BAM
POW
The mom suddenly pops up.
"Hey mom, didn't see you there."
And of course, when the mom's services are no longer needed
POOF
She dies.
HOW DOES THAT EVEN? WHAT.

Just to clear things up, I do not copy anyone's work. Things might seem similar or something but I don't copy.
And im pretty sure that I was the first Dumb Fanfic Moments book here or one of the first.
