Ten years passed by ever since Y/N joined the Radiator Springs family and she's now almost 70 and sadly has lung cancer, which means that she has not much time left to live. Lightning becomes older that soon, worst things began to happen... New young rookies began to join with brand new technology that Lightning can't adapt to. He gets trained by a young car named Cruz Ramirez, who seems to be a big fan.
While Lightning tries to train, he was teaching Cruz instead of racing. This causes Y/N to see that Cruz has a big chance of winning over a jerk rookie named Jackson Storm.
When Lightning finally realizes that Cruz can win, he helps her to win so that she can make her dream come true by being a racer. But can they succeed to defeat Jackson? What about Y/N's health?
