Misha's POV:

I could feel my face burning from the embarrassment. I covered my flushed face with my fingers. I really couldn't look at Ibraheem right now after my outburst. I had initially planned to not talk to him for a long time so he would be forced to send me back to Lahore but I really couldn't stay quiet right now. I could feel it. The impending doom. The blood stain. Ahhhh, this was so embarrassing. Allah, why was this happening right now of all times? Ibraheem was awfully quiet so I peeked at him from between my fingers and noticed that he was staring at me with his mouth wide open.

Wow. Real Mature. I internally rolled my eyes. But then again, I am pretty sure he did not see this coming either. No one expected this. HELL, IT WAS TWO DAYS EARLY. Was it perhaps the stress? Or the marathon I ran a while ago in the airport trying to escape? I stared down at my abdomen, glaring daggers at my hidden uterus. Wonderful timings as always. How about you show up on my wedding day as well? Koi din acha na guzarne dena mere liye. (Don't let any day go great for me.)

"Oh...jaan, it's uh completely fine. It happens." Ibraheem finally spoke up as he ruffled his hair awkwardly and patted my back. Ugh, I wanted to dig up a hole and die in it. I slowly detached my hands from my face as I looked at him with flushed cheeks and glaring eyes. He slowly recoiled his hand from my back.

Well, the worst has already happened. He needs to know what he should do now. Silence fell on us again as I twirled my head in his direction to give him a silent suggestion with my eyes but he just stared at me blankly. I twirled my head again as I twiddled with my thumbs. He continued to stare at me in sheer confusion. I face palmed internally in annoyance.

Was he acting this dumb on purpose or did he really not know what I was asking for? I looked at him one last time and noticed him blinking and tilting his head. I realized that he was completely clueless and lost so I decided to tell him on my own. I took a deep breath as I calmed my racing heart to tone down my flushed cheeks.

"I need you to go buy something for me." I said in a calm, collected voice as I looked at him without giving the humiliation away. I was sure my cheeks were still pink but I didn't care. Necessities come first. I am pretty sure I ruined everything down there but I had to get past that.

"Sure, babe, what do you need?" This dumbass actually had to ask? A unicorn is what I need right now. I deadpanned. I can't believe he is older than me. Clearing my throat once again and gathering all my confidence, I looked right into his soul as I said my next words.

"I need you to get me pads." I was proud of myself for saying this in one go. Good girl Misha. Keep the confidence coming.

"Pads?" He repeated.

"Pads." I confirmed with a head nod.

"Oh okay. I get it." I could tell he didn't get shit. He looked as lost as before. It felt like his head had gone into buffering mode.

"Just drive to the nearest supermarket and buy them for me. And one other thing, I need to change my clothes too."

"Sure babe. I will get you as many as you want but why do you need to change your clothes?" Ibraheem questioned. I was about to snap at him with dripping sarcasm when I felt the cramps coming. Oh God. NO. Please no. I groaned loudly as I wrapped my arms around my waist and slouched down. I wanted to slam my head in a wall right now. I hated how I always got cramps after getting my period. It was torture. I felt the hair on my arms raise from the pain.

"Jaan, what's wrong?" Ibraheem moved closer to me as his hands naturally went to my shoulders to keep me stable.

"It hurts so much." I grated out in pain as I felt the needle like pain increase in waves. I gripped his arm tightly, digging my nails into his skin. It looked like realization finally dawned on him as he went silent for a few seconds.
