It's been a couple days since I started feeling sick and I was feeling a little better but not 100%.

Colby was still so insistent on taking care of me even though he and Sam were crazy busy trying to get the rest of their videos done.

I wanted to protest but he was so adorable about it I couldn't even stop him if I tried.

"What are you doing up?!" Colby asked as I walked into the kitchen to make myself some food. "I'm hungry." I said as he stood in front of me so I couldn't look in the fridge. "Back to bed." He said and pointed towards my bedroom.

"I'm not even that sick." I said with a laugh as he turned me around. "The doctor said you have to stay in bed for a couple more days." He said as I laughed and turned around again to face him. "I didn't even go to the doctor." I said as he lifted me up and slung me over his shoulder.

"It's me. I'm the doctor and I said you need to be on bedrest." Colby said as I laughed again. "This is so kinky." I said then smacked his ass as he walked. "I'm just gonna get up when you leave you know." I said as he set me on the bed.

"Then I'm not going." He said as I rolled my eyes. "Why are you being so difficult? It's just a cold." I said as he put his hand to my head. "You're burning up, V." He said as I sighed.

"I'm fine. You just make me so flustered, that's all." I said and crossed my arms as he put the blankets over my legs. "Oh yeah?" He asked with a smirk. "Yeah." I said then glared at him for a second.

"You're adorable." He said then kissed me. I kissed him back for a second before he pulled away. "I'm seriously hungry though." I said and grabbed the stuffed bear that was next to me.

"Okay I'll make you a snack, then Sam and I are going. Kat, Ki, and Devyn are coming over though." He said as the started to leave. "Oooo three babysitters." I teased as he rolled his eyes and left the room.

I honestly was still feeling like shit but I hated when I had to slow down and rest. I had always been the kind of person that couldn't sit still even when I was sick.

I always had to be doing something.

"Here ya go, baby." Colby said and came in with tomato soup and a grilled cheese. "Wow, look at you Mr. Chef!" I said as he scrunched his nose at me. "I learned from the best. Anything else you need before I leave?" He asked as I frowned. "A kiss." I said as he grinned and leaned forwards giving me a kiss.

"Be safe, okay?" I asked and rested my hand on his cheek. "Will do, I'll call you when we're done." He said then kissed me one more time and stood up straight.

"The girls will be here soon, please just take it easy." He said as I saluted to him. "Yes, doctor." I said causing him to laugh and flip me off before walking out. "I love you!" I called out as he walked down the hall. "Love you too, dork!" He yelled causing me to laugh.

I started eating my food while I read my book since there was literally nothing else to do. I could feel myself getting more tired though as the door swung open.

"We're here, bitch!" Ki yelled as she, Devyn, and Kat all walked in. "Hey guys." I said and put my dirty dishes on my nightstand. "Hey, what's that?" I asked and pointed to the thing Devyn was holding.

"Oh! It's my self care box!" Devyn said as they all sat on my bed. "Oh, now I'm intrigued." I said and reached for the box.

When I opened it I saw face masks, nail polish, and every other skin care known to man. "Holy shit." I said with a laugh.

"Colby said you were sick." Devyn said with a shrug. "He's dramatic. I'm excited to try some of this stuff though." I said then reached for a tissue so I could blow my nose.

"I think we should watch rom coms and pamper ourselves since there's no stinky boys around." Ki said and grabbed a couple face masks and tossed them to all of us.

"Yeah, are you guys gonna tattle on me if I walk around?" I asked. "Of course not. Come on." Kat said as she stood up.

We decided we were going to spend some time in the movie room. "I'm gonna make us some popcorn." I said then went towards the kitchen.

"Let me help you, sicky." Ki said and followed me. "So, how have you been. I've missed you!" She said as I got the oil and kernals from the pantry. "It's been like...four days." I said as she laughed.

"So?!" She asked and grabbed a pot and lid. "I guess I've been okay. I've been sick so I've just been in bed." I said and heated the oil up. "What about you?" I asked and leaned against the counter.

"I went on a date." She said with a big grin. "Oh?" I asked and scrunched my nose at her. "Yeah, he's super cute and nice and smart and I think I've fallen in love." She swooned as I smiled.

"Aw! What's his name?" I asked and put my hands on my cheeks. "Tom. He's an editor for youtubers so he already knows how it is being in that career field." She gushed as her eyes lit up.

"That's great! I'm so happy for you, Ki." I said then gave her a hug. "Thanks for coming into my stupid ass job...you really changed my life." She said as we hugged. "You changed my life, too. I never really knew what a best friend was supposed to act like until I met you." I said then turned back to the stove so I could finish the popcorn.

"Petunia was trash, V. You deserve nothing but the best and what she did to you was wrong. I highkey wanna kill her still." Ki said as I laughed. "No killing people." I said and rolled my eyes. "Fiiiiine but you have to admit she was shitty to you." She said as I nodded.

"I know that now. I was just so naive and thought that's how it was. I didn't think anything of it because that's all I knew at the time." I said with a sigh then grabbed another tissue to blow my nose.

"Well I'm here to tell you that you are worth so much. I'm always gonna be here for you and I promise I'll never do anything like that stupid bitch did." She said as I washed my hands.

"Thanks, Ki...I don't know what I did to deserve you." I said then went back to the popcorn. "I could say the same thing about you." She said then hip bumped me.

We finished making the popcorn then went back to the movie room where Devyn was braiding Kat's hair. "Yay!! We chose a movie! Come on." Kat said and patted the couch next to her.

We got settled in and watched the movie as we did different kinds of spa treatments. I was still feeling like shit but it felt good to just hang out with the girls and relax.

I was so beyond lucky that I had the friends that I did because they never tried to control me or make me feel small.

They were just really supportive and nice.

I put on my face mask and tried to focus on the movie as my phone started to ring.

"Shit, it's probably Colby." I said then wiped my hands on the towel in front of me and grabbed my phone, accepting the call.

"Hey, baby." I answered with a smile. I could hear a lot of loud noises on the other end of the line so I got up and walked out of the room, covering my other ear.

"Violet..it's Sam...you need to get to the hospital. Colby got hurt."
