Another week passed and I was still feeling good. I would suffer from an occasional nightmare but for the most part I was doing okay.

Today Sam, Colby, and I were flying to Kansas so the guys could spend Thanksgiving with their families. I was excited to spend the holiday with Colby's family because everyone was going to visit their families for the holidays and I didn't want to be alone.

"Colby! Violet! Let's go!" Sam called out as I zipped up Colby's duffel bag. "Coming!" I yelled as Colby chuckled. "We don't have time for that, V." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"You're such a dork." I said with a laugh and smacked his arm as I pulled my bag onto my shoulder. "Mhmm. Whatever you say goober." He said then kissed me.

"We're gonna be late!" Sam yelled as I laughed. "How long until he comes up here?" I asked as he grabbed his bag. "Five seconds." He said as footsteps came up the stairs.

"Guys, I'm serious." Sam said as we left the room. "We're fine, brother. We have plenty of time." Colby said as we made our way down the stairs. "Until we hit traffic." Sam retorted as I pointed at him. "He's got a point." I said as Colby grabbed his keys.

"Shut up. Let's go." He said and gestured towards the car.

We all put our stuff in the car then made our way to the airport. Sam and Colby sat up front, talking about places they wanted to go while in Kansas.

When we got to the airport we grabbed our bags and went inside.

"See Sam, plenty of time." Colby said as we made our way to security. "Yeah, because I got your asses out of the house." Sam said and nudged his shoulder.

"We told we were coming." I said with a shrug as we got to security. "Yeah yeah. I know you two though, you weren't coming." He said causing me to laugh. "Touché." I said then started taking my shoes off for security.

We got through security easily then started making our way to the gate. "Oooo! Can we get pretzels?" I asked as I pointed to the auntie Anne's that was next to us.

"For breakfast?" Colby asked with a laugh. "Yes for breakfast. We're on vacation." I said then walked towards the line.

We got our pretzels then went to sit at our gate. We didn't have to wait long before we started boarding. "You want the window seat, V?" Sam asked as I nodded. "If you don't mind." I said as he grinned and stepped to the side so I could get in.

I was doing much better about the paranoia but there were still things that would trigger the feelings, like being out in public. Everyone was so good about making sure I was okay though which I appreciated.

I leaned my head on Colby's shoulder as the plane took off. I was honestly starting to get a little bit nervous about staying with Colby's parents.

I had gotten along with them pretty well so I wasn't necessarily worried about that but I've never been in this serious of a relationship and the idea of it made me a little nervous.

I'd be okay though.

When we landed we made our way off of the plane and to baggage claim. "That flight felt super short." Colby said as we walked hand in hand through the airport.

"Yeah, it usually feels longer than that." Sam said as we got to the baggage claim area. "What if we aren't in Kansas anymore." I said with a laugh as Colby rolled his eyes. "Pack it in, dork." He said and scrunched his nose at me.

"Heheh...okay." I said as a girl came rushing over to us causing me to flinch. "Sam and Colby!" She exclaimed as I pulled my hand back from Colby's so he could hug her.
