"Hey, do you need anything from the store?" I asked Colby as I grabbed my bag. "What are you going to the store for?" Colby asked as he stretched. "I was thinking we could have a little party. Just the friends since you've been cooped up in here for the past two weeks." I said as he grinned.

"You're too cute." He said as I shrugged. "Yeah, maybe." I said then winked at him. "I was thinking you could be bad and go in the hot tub." I said as he laughed.

"Oh, so bad." He said sarcastically as I laughed. "Shut the hell up, now answer my question." I said and raised my brow at him. "As long as I have some white claws and your fine ass I'll be good to go." He said as I grinned.

"Alright I'll be back." I said then left to go downstairs. When I went downstairs I went to the living room where Sam, Kat, and Jake were. "Hey, I wanted to have a little party today for Colby if you guys are down for it." I said as Kat smiled widely.

"Yes! It's been forever. I'll text the girls." She said as I nodded. "Perfect. I'm going to the store, let me know if you guys need anything." I said then went to get my keys.

I couldn't help but feel the excitement in my chest as I drove to the store. It had been such a long time since I actually got to let loose with all of the friend group.

When I got to the grocery store I grabbed a basket and started doing my shopping. I honestly loved grocery shopping since nobody usually wanted to go with me. It was my time to really just be with myself.

I decided I was going to make burgers and homemade fries even though it was literally almost November and it wasn't the season to do a cookout. It didn't matter though, I was gonna do it anyways.

I was almost done with my list when I went to get some potatoes for the fries, I picked up a bag of them then turned around only to run into someone, causing me to drop it.

"Shit! Sorry." I said then bent down to pick it up. "Violet?" Peter asked as I looked up at him. "Oh..hey!" I said and stood up straight. "What are you doing here?" He asked as I laughed. "Just getting some groceries." I said with a shrug. "Do you live around here?" He asked as I nodded.

"Kinda. I don't like the store closest to my place. What about you?" I asked and put the potatoes in my basket. "Yeah, I live just down the road! Crazy that we bumped into eachother." He said with a laugh as I nodded. "Yeah, it's a pretty small world." I said with a laugh as my phone started ringing.

"Shit, I gotta go. It was great seeing you though!" I said with a smile as he nodded and waved. "Yep! See you at work!" He said as I answered the phone.

"What's up, Ki?" I asked as I walked towards the registers. "Are you still at the store?" She asked as I laughed. "Yeah, I'm about to check out. Why?" I asked and got in line. "Can you get cookie dough? I want cookie dough." She said as I nodded and walked towards the refrigerated section.

"Yeah, I'm on it." I said as she laughed. "Hell yeah, you're the best." She said as I grabbed a roll of cookie dough. "Whatever, I'll be back soon." I said with a laugh then hung up.

I quickly went and paid for the groceries then went back home. When I went inside everyone was hanging out in the living room so I went to the kitchen to get to work.

"Want some help?" Colby asked as he came into the room. "You should be resting." I said and squinted at him. "No, that was last week." He said as I laughed.

"Hmm, I seem to remember your doctor telling you four to six weeks." I said and and started prepping for the burgers. "Eh, I feel fine." He said as I squinted at him.

"Sit." I said then pointed to the seat that was at the kitchen island. "Vi-" he started but I shook my head. "Colby. Sit." I said as he laughed. "Can I have a treat?" He asked as I nodded.
